Who we are

We are a company established in the United States and have no EU subsidiary. We answer requests directly at the address above.
What we process
- Server access data. When you load this site our hosting provider processes technical data (IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser identifier) to deliver the page and block attacks.
- Audience measurement. We use Umami (umami.is). It works without cookies and without accessing anything stored on your device, and it reports only aggregate numbers (views, referrer, approximate location). No data about individual visitors is kept.
- Email contact. If you write to us we process your details (name, email address, message) to answer you.
We set no advertising or analytics cookies, build no profiles and embed no ad networks. The site has no contact forms and no sign-up.
Legal bases
Server access data and audience measurement: legitimate interest in a secure, working site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Answering enquiries: your request, and the preparation or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Where our business contacts come from
When we approach companies we use publicly available business contact details, such as the marketing and communications contacts published on your company website or company profile. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in business-to-business contact (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time, for any reason, by replying to the email or writing to the address above. We then delete your details and stop contacting you.
Recipients and processors
- Netlify, Inc. (USA) - website hosting
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) - DNS and audience measurement
- Zoho Corporation (EU data centre) - email mailbox
For transfers to the USA we rely on the safeguards these providers offer (standard contractual clauses, or certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
How long we keep it
Server logs are held briefly by our hosting provider for operations and security. Enquiries are kept as long as needed to answer them and for any resulting business relationship, then deleted unless a retention duty applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, in Germany the authority of your federal state. A message to shara@vertexinteligence.com is enough to exercise any of these.
No automated decision-making
We make no decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produce legal effects for you.
